Q. What's with the name, are you guys for real?
A. Yes we are very much for real.

As for the name, let's take a ride back to those thrilling days of yesteryear...

The year was 1997 and the dotcom days were coming into full bloom. Linux was a relatively unknown operating system at the time and I was just discovering it. My first linux box was named 'underdog', probably because of the 'underdog' nature of Linux at the time, but really I just liked the name. I soon built another box from bits and pieces to use as a server and named it 'bigdog'. I could see a pattern emerging and I needed a name for my local network now too, so taking the tongue-in-cheek nature of a lot of Linux programs at the time I decided to name the network doggydoo.net. The name has kind of stuck with me ever since. There have been other computers added to the network and all names have kept the central doggy theme; topdog, bigdog, wonderdog.

The name is very tongue-in-cheek and I think is representative of our easy-going, humorous attitude. But don't take it as a sign that we're not serious about the work we do. We take our work very seriously. Both because someone else is relying on our abilities to deliver what they are paying for and because of the pride we take in everything we do. Our reputation is on the line on every job and we're not about to let anything reflect poorly on us. You can be confident that any work we perform is top-quality and we will stand behind everything we do.
Q. How large is your company?
A. Right now our company has one employee, me. But I am very optimistic about the chances of this company growing in the future, so I have a tendency to talk about the company as a group of people. But for now when you talk to us/me you talk to the boss and the grunt. That's personalized service and that is something I intend to keep no matter how many employees the company eventually has.
